13 Filipinos Among the Crew of Taiwanese Ship Missing in Atlantic Ocean

A Taiwanese Ship had been missing in the Atlantic ocean since February 26.

Hsiang Fu Chun, a squid fishing vessel, was sailing off Falkland Islands when it disappeared. Speculations were made like the ship was hijacked by the crew.

Taiwan authorities had already set off a search and rescue operation, and appealed for help from Argentina and Britain.  But weather conditions and remoteness of the area hinders the operation to find Hsiang Fu Chun.

The crew included 11 Chinese, 21 Indonesian, 13 Filipinos, 2 Taiwanese and 2 Vietnamese.
